Chapter Six Conjectures:

Ack. Just so I don't feel completely useless, could someone verify the conjectures for chapter six sections one and two for me? XD

I've been working on the investigations and I just wanted to make sure they were at least close to the conjectures confirmed in class. That way, I can work on the homework tonight. I'd really appreciate the help. >.<;

Section 6.1--

Conjecture 38: The sum of the measures of the four angles of every quadrilateral is 360-degrees.

Conjecture 39: The sum of the measures of the n angles of an n-gon is 180-degrees.

Section 6.2--

Conjecture 40: The sum of the measures of one set of exterior angles is 360-degrees.

Conjecture 41: The measure of each angle of an equiangular n-gon can be found by using either of the following expressions:

(n-2)180 [degrees] / n

or

180 [degrees] - 360 [degrees] / n.

Hi Mary! I'm sorry that you're sick... we missed you today! :(

Anyways, your conjectures were mostly right. Copnjecture 40 was fine, but I don't know what you did with 41... O.o

The equation to find the sum of the interior angles of any n-gon is 180(n-2). I can explain this to you more tomorrow.

I'll try and check your hw when I get the chance, but who knows when that'll come along...

Now I'm nearly done with section 6.1's work. Ooh! And you were right, I'm sorry. XD;; That was a typo for conjecture number thirty-nine. I just re-checked my paper. It is 180 (n-2); I'm sorry for the confusion there. XD

And can you believe midterms are next Tuesday and Wednesday? Or was it Thursday...? Hmm. Have we decided on a place to meet yet?
