Hey All... I know no one uses this thing anymore but I need some help. #4 13.4... I get the equation that you put it in. 42squared= 36squared+ 34squared- 2(36)(34)* Cos A... I just cant solve it using Algebra.... Can anyone out ther help me
Hoh'snap, crackle, pop. It's 10:10. Oh my friggers. Billie, Sillie, I'm so sorry I missed your phone calls. Are you both still awake? I'm sorry. I went to take a nap, but I was so tired and ended up waking up about an hour or so ago and I just finished the last load of laundry I was supposed to do this afternoon.
I'm so far behind. >.<;; Ooh, dang it. *snaps* Did you both just call to tell me we were meeting tomorrow at the library? Or were we going to go over something? Bwaah. I'm sorry, I don't think I can help you Billie and Sillie, since I'm just going to start my homework. *sigh*
Call me via cell phone tomorrow morning if you still want to go over something...? I'll see you guys later.

Hey, Keenan. ^-^
I'm sorry for such a late reply, but if you still need some help:
Okie dokies. Like you've said, the equation is--
42^2 = 34^2 + 36^2 -2(34)(36)Cos A.
Your next line would be:
42^2 - 34^2 - 36^2 = -2(34)(36) Cos A.
Now what would you do to isolate Cos A?
Cos A= 42^2 - 34^2 - 36^2 / -2(34)(36).
[[Cos A equals 42-squared minus 34-squared minus 36-squared all over -2(34)(36)]]
-Punch in the numerator into the calculator:
42^2 - 34^2 - 36^2 [[You should get -688.]]
-Press divide and don't forget to put -2(34)(36) in parenthesis, then hit equal. [[You should get -2448 and then 0.28104...after you hit the equal button.]]
-Since this is the inverse, hit 2nd [[or shift? XD]] then the Cosine button. You should get 73.677...and so on.
Well, that was my answer. I'm so sorry if I made a mistake, Keenan. >.<;; If you get a different answer, just tell me. XD
Goodnight everybody, and much luck for the test. ^-^
