Hiya, Keenan. ^-^

I'm not sure if I remember all of the vocabulary words that were on the quiz, but here are the ones I can still vaguely see. There should be eight of them, right?

Median:
-Line segment.
-From vertex to the midpoint on the opposite side.

Altitude:
-Perpendicular line segment.
-starts from vertex;ends on opposite side.

Parallelogram:
-quadrilateral.
-exactly two pairs of parallel sides.

Regular Polygon:
-Polygon:
-Equilateral.
-Equiangular.

Diagonal:
-Line segment.
-Connects non-consecutive vertices.

Parallel Lines:
-Coplanar pair of lines
-Non-intersecting [never intersect]

Midpoint:
-Point.
-Divides line into two equal parts. [center]

Vertical Angles:

Actually, does someone have the exact definition we confirmed during class? The "if angle so-and-so is blah, blah, blah then it must be blah, blah, blah to angle this-and-that" one? I'd really, really appreciate it.

I'm sorry that I don't have the correct definition for this one, but a pair of vertical angles are basically opposite angles that are congruent.

I hope those were all the terms we had to define on the quiz. Hmm. Anyway, homework time. XD I have to redo my cardstock triangle. And get started on Section 3.8.

By the way:

Does anyone wanna meet up tomooorrow? XD Nyaahaaa.

Sincerely,
--Mary.

You should KNOW all of the vocabulary words we went over in chapter 2. the quiz may or may not be the same one i gave twice already.

btw---mary,
vertical angles:
if line AB intersects CD at M, then angle AMC and angle DMB are a pair of vertical angles.

Ack! Sorry, Jessica. A little late on messaging, but what do you need help on? ^-^ And cheeyeah. XD I'll totally see you tomorrow, too. *peace-sign!* Ah-whiicka-wiicka-whaat!

[space
- (i think means) the center of all points.
Ooh, I forgot about space. ^-^ It's the set of all points, though. On the first vocabulary quiz, I messed that up by saying space was where all points and lines lied. XD Aaah.]

And yaay! Thank you, Ms. Chaaan! I'll have to jot that down. xB

If you guys don't mind me dropping in, I'll be at the library tomorrow morning, too. My bus usually comes around seven-seven ten, so it's perfect timing.

Erm. If anyone's still awake. XD I'd really appreciate it if you told me what your order of the four points were from the vertex to opposite side, just to see if I had done that correctly.

Thank you in advance!

Sincerely,
--Mary.
